A class in color for the dreary months
In this weekly class we’ll learn about color in light, in paint & in paintings. We will experiment with color interactions using Josef Albers’ methods in paper for the first few weeks, then we’ll explore the seven color contrasts through color mixing in paint (gouache). There will be exercises & homework.

Color & Theory
The difference between theory and practice is that in theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not. We’ll come to theory by way of practice.
