I teach many classes and workshops in various painting media and techniques across the state of Oregon and sometimes Washington.
My methods are taught to students of all experience levels, from beginners who have never touched a paint brush to seasoned artists who hold regular exhibitions. It is never too early and it is never too late.

Plein Air at the Forest Edge | Plas Newydd Farm
This will be quite an adventure in painting in response to a beautiful landscape with historic significance.
This farm has been a working farm since before the California Gold Rush. The current family have been farming it since the 1940s. And in the past few years, they’ve been bringing artists onto the land. The land nestles into the confluence of the Lewis and Columbia Rivers. We’ll have two days of painting forest, fields, farmland and river edges. There’s lodging available nearby, and it’s only 40 minutes from Portland, Oregon.
As for the art of painting out in the open air, we’ll cover everything from setting up the easel, laying out the palette, composing a good painting and then painting it!

Use the “Register” button on the individual class page to register through the website with payment through Paypal. Or, click on the link for registrations through Sitka and use their portal to pay.
Register by Mail
Email me or call 503-201-2556 with the name of the desired class or workshop, your first and last name, and a good contact number.
Follow up the email with your payment in the form of a check or money order. I'll email you with more information upon receipt of your payment.
Cancellation Policy & Refunds
All refunds are issued within 30 days of cancellation.
60+ days notice: 100% refund to original method of payment
30-59 days notice: 50% refund to original payment method or 100% refund as credit only, to be applied to a future class within 1 calendar year.
Less than 30 days: No refund available
